THE PROBLEM:

SignatureFD needs to rebrand themselves in every regard from colors, website, UX, and more.

What we know:

  • SFD is a financial institution that caters to the top 1% of wealth in America.

  • They are a unique bank in the sense that they don’t just do banking, they do wealth management.

  • Users need to understand that they are getting a partnership when going to the site, not just a financial institution.

Hypothesis:

By creating a unique brand, we can cater to individuals looking for a unique experience.

CONSIDERations & PROCESS:

Extensive research

We conducted multiple rounds of interviews of SFD customers and wealth management consultants.

Research synthesization & prioritization

Using the information gathered in our interviews, we were able to determine what was important to our users so we could create a better user experience and web presence. By synthesizing this research, we were able to accurately approach the website IA and design.

Sitemapping & user flows

We took our time creating the perfect user flow and sitemap based on our research. Sometimes this involved us sitting in a conference room for hours, whiteboarding the flow until we came up with the best solution.

USER PERSONA

From our user research and synthesization, we were able to come up with a user persona that encompasses the majority of users of the SignatureFD website.

WIREFRAMES

Multiple iterations of wireframes and content layout prior to hi-fidelity designs.
